Milo Family Practice is owned and operated by Mayo Regional Hospital and is staffed by two physicians and one physician assistant. Three medical assistants support the primary care providers, and there are two clerical staff and one office coordinator.

The office is open Monday through Friday, with two providers on duty each day. Milo Family Practice offers a variety of services including adult physicals, well-child physicals, routine medical visits, chronic illness care, complete obstetrics care, osteopathic manipulation, minor skin lesion removals, endometrial biopsies, strep tests, pregnancy tests and blood draws. Counseling services are offered each week by a provider from the Mayo Counseling Program.

Diana Vandermast NP

Diana Vandermast NP

Education: Vandermast earned her Master of Science in Nursing through the Family Nurse Practitioner program at the University of Southern Maine in Portland. She received a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree through the Friends World Program at Long Island University, studying in Bangalore, India and Heredia, Costa Rica.

Other: Vandermast has worked as a family nurse practitioner in Maine since 2004, most recently in Washington County at the Healthways Regional Medical Center in Lubec and at an associated clinic in East Machias. She earlier was employed as a primary care provider at Mercy Primary Care in Westbrook.
Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Vandermast was a Registered Nurse from 2003-2004 at the New England Rehab Hospital in Portland.

Diana Vandermast, FNP is now splitting her time between Milo Family and Dexter Internal Medicine. At Milo Monday-Wednesday-Friday and Tuesday-Thurs at Dexter.
