Psychiatry & Counseling

Counseling can be extremely helpful for those experiencing the grief, stress, depression, and anxiety caused by life’s challenges and hard times. Mayo Psychiatry and Counseling are here to help. We believe the needs of our patients are best served by the thoughtful integration of care and services.

Mental health issues affect men, women, and children of all ages, races, and income levels. Often kept secret and not discussed it can become an increasingly heavy burden. Our mental health affects our physical health and vice-versa. Concerns about relationships, health, happiness, motivation, behaviors, trauma and life decisions are common issues that can be explored with a professional to determine a course of action towards a pathway for resolution or successful management.

Please make an appointment for an assessment with a therapist who may see you or refer you to counseling, a psychiatrist, or a group. One of the keys to our success is our focus on helping individuals discover and develop their own strengths through:

  • Psychiatric and medical services
  • Drug and alcohol treatment
  • Individual and family counseling
  • Specialized services for children, teens, and young adults
  • Assistance for seniors
  • Suicide prevention
  • Support, skill-building and therapy groups
  • Community Support Services
Our Team:
  • Jennifer Taylor, PMHNP-BC (Family Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner)
  • Ruth Raczkowski, PMHNP-BC (Family Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner)
