Childbirth classes are held every Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. in the Sebec Room of the Mayo Regional Hospital Resource Center

Sibling Class
We have developed a sibling class designed for children 2-8 years of age. Participants will have a tour of the Maternity Department and learn basic things about being a big brother or big sister. This class will be offered quarterly on March 1, June 14, Sept. 13 and Dec. 3, from 2-3 p.m. on Saturdays.

Cost: $75 for seven weeks, including books, pamphlets and handouts. Ask your insurance carrier if the cost of these prenatal classes is covered. Most carriers that cover prenatal exams also cover prenatal class charges. Medicaid will pay for these classes. Childbirth class participants are encouraged to sign up early and to plan to complete the class session by their 37th week. Remember, baby sometimes comes before his/her due date!
